Morning Cuppa

There’s something special about those quiet mornings, when it’s just me and my cuppa. As I wrap my hands around the warmth, the steam rising like whispers of comfort, I find solace in the stillness.

It’s a time when the world seems to slow down, allowing me to savour the simple pleasures that often go unnoticed in the rush of daily life.

In those solitary moments, there’s a sense of tranquillity that envelops me like a soft blanket. The gentle rhythm of my breath matches the gentle swirl of steam from my mug, creating a symphony of calm. It’s a time for reflection, for gazing out the window as the world awakens, lost in thought yet at peace with the present moment.

With each sip, I’m not just drinking the hot drink; I’m drinking in the quiet beauty of the morning, letting it seep into my soul like the rich flavour of my favorite brew. It’s a time for dreaming, for letting my mind wander to distant shores or to the depths of my imagination.

In these moments of solitude, I find clarity amidst the chaos, as if the stillness of the morning air clears away the clutter of my mind.

Above all, it’s a time for simply being. No need for words or distractions, just me and my thoughts, embraced by the gentle hug of the morning. In these quiet moments with my cuppa, I rediscover the joy of my own company, finding contentment in the simple act of being alive.

Beautiful. There was a time when I dreaded getting out of bed in the morning but now that I am more content (well, most of the time), that first cuppa is so enjoyable.
